Electricity and Before

Introduction

A session that looks at homes and daily lives and the changes over the course of the last 150 years.

An active, taught session, using a lot of handling objects from today and the past and considering the differences.  Changes in daily life are clearly demonstrated by examining items such as hair tongs, ironing, lighting, cleaning and how to do your laundry.

The session will also consider how we currently generate electricity and the need to move to more renewable forms of energy.
