Christmas Craft Workshop – Saturday 30 November

Saturday Times: 10.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Your chance to soak up some creativity and get into the festive spirit. What better way to get excited for christmas than attending a Craft Workshop where you can make some unique and personalised gifts for your loved ones.

Adults and children are welcome to attend and participate. More the merrier!


Seaside Holiday Fun

sandbox funCome and visit our seaside activity room which is open every day of the Summer holidays in the Education Room. You can make your own lighthouse, stage your own puppet show and decorate a whole host of fishy creatures.

If you would rather take things a little easier then you can relax in a deck chair next to our nostalgic beach hut!

As well as the daily seaside fun we have a FREE arts workshop every Thursday of the Summer Holidays from 11am until 2pm. Theres no need to book just come along and get creative. Check out our events page for details.

Family Fun day: Beating Stigma the Fun Way

Family Fun DayPeople Working with People and Time to Change Wales have organised a free family fun day at the Museum on Saturday (23 March), hosted by Lee King and Jess G from Radio Tircoed.

Taking place from 11am – 4pm there will be a whole day of entertainment and children’s activities including an Easter egg hunt, face painting, a bouncy castle and a disco.  Refreshments will be available.

Over the Easter holidays the Museum will also be hosting a number of free workshops including a Pottery Workshop with artist Ruth McLees (2 & 9 April) and Craft Workshops inspired by the LOCWS International Art Across the City public art programme (3 & 10 April).

Half Term ‘Your Treasures’ Craft Workshop


Come down to Swansea Museum this Thursday for a treasure themed drop in craft workshop!

Join artist Ruth McLees to make your own wire work and beaded goodies inspired by our newly displayed treasure case. Smaller visitors will enjoy getting messy with glitter and glue to create their own sparkly treasure pictures to take home.

The workshop is FREE and all materials are provided.

Thursday 14 February, 11am – 1pm and 2pm -4pm. Drop in – no booking required.
